The eco-friendly waste depot construction in Cincin Reservoir area, Papanggo Urban Village, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta has entered planning consultation stage.

North Jakarta Environment Sub-agency Head, Slamet Riyadi added that it would be built on a 1,600-square-meter width land by spending Rp 3 billion.

According to eco-friendly concept, the depot will be completed with various facilities such as, installation of wastewater treatment plant (IPAL), processing of waste organic, inorganic and composter.
"Its concept is 3 R (reuse, reduce, and recycle). So later not all waste is disposed to Bantar Gebang, as sorting has been done," he stated.
